Whether you are looking for advice or support, on an individual level, environmental level, or organisational level, Think Clearly Sport is here to provide bespoke psychological support to help you in your chosen pursuit. Regardless of your pursuit, we have experience of providing support to the following groups of performers: • Athletes • Coaches • Officials • Support staff • Participants • Performers • Parents Across this range of clients, we have previously delivered to clients within motor-racing, tennis, golf, football, triathlon, archery, hockey, and many more! This short article has been put together to provide an overview of the support options available for individuals, groups, or teams. Support for Individuals Typically delivered on a one-on-one basis, sessions can be arrange on a weekly, monthly, or seasonal basis. Individual support is available in single sessions, or blocks of three, five, or seven. Monthly support packages are available upon request. Sessions are typically 60-75 minutes in duration. Sessions are charged relative to the number of sessions booked. As is typical with all forms of psychological support, Individual support progresses through a series of stages. These stages include; • An initial meeting (termed the needs analysis) • Creation of personalised psychological development plan. • Implementation of the development plan (including subsequent sessions) • Monitoring of plan effectiveness. • Evaluation of support provision and recommendations for future performances. Regardless of the number of sessions booked, individual support with follow the stages outlined above. The initial meeting entails a thorough discussion about your sport and performance background, goals or targets, strengths, you current performance level, and any areas you are wishing to improve, develop, or maintain. Following this meeting, you will be provided with a detailed psychological development plan to inform your future sessions, enabling you to track your development and performance. Psychological development plans are created in collaboration with you. Subsequent support sessions are likely to involve reflection, feedback, discussion, and practical skill development. Individual sessions are available in single sessions, or blocks of three, five, or seven and charged accordingly. Individual sessions last up to 75 minutes and are arranged to best fit your schedule, based upon your sporting and personal availability. Support for Teams and Groups Whether you are involved in a sports teams or are part of a group of performers, this form of support is a great way to engage multiple people in sport psychology sessions. Sessions are typically available in workshop formats. These sessions are delivered at a mutually agreed venue. Workshops are created to be interactive in nature and are inform by input from a range of stakeholders (e.g. coaches, athletes, captains, parents, and support staff). Team and group services are tailored to the group’s specific requirements and although they are typically workshop focussed, follow up one-to-one sessions with players and or staff, are available upon request. At a team level, integrated training and competition observations, support, and feedback is available upon request. Support costs reflect the level of support required. Team and Group support progresses through the following stages: • An initial meeting • Creation of personalised psychological development session or programme. • Delivery of session or programme of sessions. • Monitoring of plan effectiveness. • Evaluation of session delivered, impact of support and recommendations for future performances or support.
